Some words about me

Who am I? That’s an easy answer!

My name is Simone Simonazzi and I can tell you that I was born on December 1974, in Parma- Italy, where I am currently living, although I like to travel. From an early age, I was attracted to photography, back when you still had to look through the viewfinder being careful, not to move your hand, the light, the involuntary reflex, until the expected "click ". I passed through analogic to digital cameras, until I came across a Canon… a great photo camera that is offering me a great satisfaction. I like to photograph landscapes, but what I prefer the most are human subjects. That is the reason why I like to dialogue, I am open to constructive criticism and why not..new challenges.

What I do not like? The one who thinks he reached the ultimate level in photography know-how. I believe it is a “never to be reached” situation, however, it is a path to share with those around us in order to capture what strikes us or what we like. My pictures are not retouched, I do not like edited photographs. I prefer the reality transposed into photography and I do not like to alter it, on the contrary. The only thing that sometimes I can do to appreciate even more a picture is to turn it to black and white.

And finally a special thank you to a special girl: Daniela!
